GED Program
Bosma offers the only GED preparation program in the state of Indiana geared specifically toward the needs of individuals who are blind or visually impaired. A pre-test is given, and the program is designed around the needs of each individual.
This program concentrates on Math, Reading Comprehension, Writing, Science and Social Studies. At the end of the program, a post-test is given to ensure that the individual is ready to take the GED test.
College Prep
The College Prep classes offer new or returning students the opportunity to prepare for upcoming college courses. Classes are geared to meet the individual needs of the students, with emphasis on math and writing skills. Keyboarding and computer skills are used to learn how to write research
papers and create PowerPoint presentations. By the end of the program, the student should be better prepared to enter into a college math course and write a college level research paper.
