Melanie oversees Bosma’s Community Employment Placement Program that assists and supports individuals who are blind or visually impaired in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment in the community. She has been involved in working with people with disabilities for 20 years with the goal of making a difference in the unemployment rate for people who are blind or visually impaired.

Rehab Hospital of Indiana, Neuro Rehab Center - assisted persons who suffered a stroke or traumatic brain injury find or return to employment

Melanie enjoys spending time with her Mom and values their relationship as well as those of her friends. She has two cats that she says run the household and she loves to travel the US. Melanie thoroughly enjoys her job and the challenge(s) it offers and admits that she tends to spend more time working than “playing”.
