Tony Messier
Tony began began working at the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired while attending college to become a teacher. Working as a lifeguard and recreation assistant for the students, he developed a passion for working with individuals with a visual impairment. After graduation, Tony worked for the Assistive Technology Department and helped students in the computer lab.
After working with the STEP (Student Training and Employment Program) for four years, Tony knew he wanted to make a difference in the practice of hiring people with disabilities. Now that he’s at Bosma, he hopes to combine his teaching background and knowledge of assistive technology to support individuals with visual impairments. His goal is to help clients build confidence and find gainful employment.
